Frequently Asked Questions

Take a very small amount, rub it in your hands and apply it onto your face and skin. The cream/moisturiser will naturally melt upon contact due to the purity of the ingredients.

Store at ambient room temperature away from direct sunlight. If the weather gets too hot (for example over 30 degrees celsius), store in the fridge for this length of time.

Don't worry, this won't affect the properties of the cream/moisturiser. Simply put it in the fridge for about 20 minutes. Once it has cooled down, stir it until it reaches a creamy texture. Then place it in the fridge again until it becomes solid.

Try and avoid this happening regularly as it may impair the quality and shelf life of your cream/moisturiser.

This is due to the purity and living nature of our moisturiser range but also because they don't contain water (an unnecessary, cheap filler), beeswax or any unnatural/chemical agents like propylene glycol.

Absolutely! Your skin will love you for it!

12 months in normal conditions but much longer if stored in the fridge.

The list of ingredients that you see on each product page is the FULL list. That's it. Nothing else!

The MSM Beauty cream does contain very small flakes of MSM.  These are non abrasive and will quickly be absorbed into the skin when you apply the cream.  Please remember that a little goes along way and you only need a small amount.

We recommend the Living Hemp moisturiser as the ingredients have been specially blended for eczema and dry skin conditions. You could also use Borage Seed cold pressed oil if you are sensitive to essential oils, as this is a good treatment for dry and damaged skin and conditions such as eczema as it supplements the bodies own natural oil.

The MSM Beauty cream and the MSM Beauty spray are basically the same. The only difference is that the cream is made from a base of cacao butter and the spray is obviously a spray and not a cream which contains no cacao butter but has argan oil and is a lot lighter than the cream.

I would make your decision based on how dry your skin is and if it is particularly dry then werecommend the MSM Beauty cream.

With the Shikakai hair wash you do not need to use it with a shampoo or a conditioner. You simply need to make enough paste to cover all of your hair, add the paste to wet hair and although it is quite difficult because it is not a liquid, spread the mixture over the scalp and then massage it gradually through all the hair, then rinse off.

If you have dry skin any of our moisturisers /creams will be suitable. If your skin is very dry, you can apply the Wildcrafted Shea Butter on your face as a night cream. Shea Butter is also an excellent moisturiser for dry legs and arms.

The following products are also suitable for dry skin:

For combination skin, we recommend the following:

Many adults and babies with extremely sensitive skin or suffering from skin conditions such as dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, etc have found our skin care range truly effective.

We think that this is due to the purity and living nature of our products and the use of plant-based ingredients that have special soothing and healing qualities.

So, in regards to selecting a moisturiser, you can try the Hemp Living Moisturiser or the For Her Babies Living Cream. The latter does not contain any essential oils and is therefore recommended for people sensitive to them.

If you are sensitive to essential oils, avoid those products that contain essential oils and use instead Raw Gaia’s organic, cold-pressed oils and floral waters according to your particular needs.

Other products that are generally suitable for sensitive skin:

We would recommend the following regime:

During pregnancy we do not recommend using any products that contain essential oils as these can be dangerous to your unborn baby.

We would recommend using either our For Her Babies cream which is very simple and contains no essential oils but is very nourishing or a cold-pressed oil like Borage or Argan oil which are completely safe and natural and are very good at moisturising the skin.

During pregnancy we do not recommend using any products that contain essential oils as these can be harmful to your unborn baby.

We would recommend using Jojoba oil because the structure of Jojoba oil so closely resembles natural sebum which can actually “trick” the skin into producing less natural sebum which, unlike jojoba, can clog pores. In addition, jojoba oil’s antimicrobial properties help to protect the skin from harmful bacteria helping to reinforce the epidermis.

You can also use  the Green clay face pack once a week or the Rhassoul clay to draw out toxins.

We have a set skin regime that we recommend to people wanting to treat acne, rosacea or extremely sensitive skin.
