Planet Organic To Stock Living Skin Care Range

Organic skin care company Raw Gaia announces that its range of living, organic skin care products will now be available at Planet Organic, the UK's largest organic and natural products retailer, as of June 1, 2009.
Al Overton, skin care buyer for Planet Organic, comments, “I knew I had to find shelf space for the Raw Gaia range as soon as I tried their Living Hemp Moisturiser. Not only does it feel amazing, it smells of chocolate oranges! The Raw Chocolate Face Pack sealed the decision. Raw Gaia is perfect for those of my customers who are looking for totally natural skin care products, as untreated as possible but also with a really funky edge, so I am really pleased to have Raw Gaia in our stores.”
Planet Organic was the UK's first fully certified organic supermarket of its kind when it first opened its flagship store in Notting Hill, London, in 1995. Since then, it has revolutionised the retail scene by offering only natural and organic food, drink and lifestyle products which are kind to the environment and promote fair-trade.
The retailer has also led the way with the introduction a new, entirely compostable and biodegradable plastic-free carrier bag, which - upon its first week of being introduced - decreased the volume of carrier bags used in all of its stores by 75%.
