Cold-Pressed Cacao Butter
Our organic cocoa butter is fairly traded with small farmers in southern Togo, who harvest the cocoa beans from the shade-grown cocoa trees. This variety of cocoa butter has a particular rich, chocolate-like aroma, stronger than any other cocoa butter that we know of. It is free from any chemical preservatives and it has not been deodorised.
Cacao butter is great for all types of skin. It helps to repair dry and damaged skin since it helps to regenerate skin cells and restore elasticity thanks to its high levels of antioxidants and minerals. Cacao butter promotes healthy and smooth skin and is particularly good as a protection against the weather.
Palmarosa Essential Oil
Palmarosa oil calms the mind, yet has an uplifting effect, while clearing muddled thinking. It is used to counter physical and nervous exhaustion, stress-related problems and nervousness.
It is most useful during convalescence and cools the body of fever, while aiding the digestive system, helping to clear intestinal infection, digestive atonia and anorexia nervosa. It is effective in relieving sore, stiff muscles.
Patchouli Essential Oil
Patchouli oil has a grounding and balancing effect on the emotions and banishes lethargy, while sharpening the wits, fighting depression and anxiety. It is also said to create an amorous atmosphere.
It is effective for fungal and bacterial infection and is of great help for insect bites. It could also be used as an insect repellant and is also used as a support for dealing with any substance addiction.
On the skin, this oil is one of the most active and is a superb tissue regenerator, which helps to stimulate the growth of new skin cells. In wound healing, it not only promotes faster healing, but also helps to prevent ugly scarring when the wound heals.
Wildcrafted myrrh essential oil
Myrrh alleviates inflammation in the body and fights fungal infections. It can help to relieve coughs and colds caused by viral infections. Myrrh has astringent effects on the gums and teeth. It is often used in natural toothpastes, gargles and mouthwashes. The oil is also effective against microbial infections such as food poisoning or infection. Myrrh stimulates circulation and helps oxygen circulate through the body. It also works to strengthen the immune system.
Macerated calendula
This golden coloured oil cools and soothes inflamed skin, is naturally antiseptic & promotes healing. Calendula macerated oil is made by immersing the fresh organic flower blooms in sweet almond oil and basking them in soft sunlight until the oil is filled with the fragrant power of the calendula or marigold flower.
Black pepper essential oil
Black pepper oil can be used to help in the treatment of pain relief, rheumatism, chills, flu, colds, increase circulation, exhaustion, muscular aches, physical and emotional coldness, nerve tonic and fevers. It furthermore increases the flow of saliva, stimulates appetite, encourages peristalsis, tones the colon muscles and is a general digestive tonic.
Fennel essential oil
Fennel oil is a remedy for digestive complaints such as flatulence, constipation, colic, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, dyspepsia and hiccups. It is also used in cases of obesity, as it promotes that 'full feeling' and has a diuretic effect that helps to disperse cellulite.
For the mind, it adds courage and strength in the face of adversity. It has a cleansing and toning effect on the skin, helping with bruises, sorting out overly oily skin and to fight wrinkles in more mature complexions (possibly due to the estrogenic properties of the oil).
Rosemary Essential Oil
Rosemary oil helps with headaches, migraines, neuralgia, mental fatigue and nervous exhaustion and the antiseptic action of rosemary oil is especially suitable for intestinal infections and diarrhea, easing colitis, dyspepsia, flatulence, hepatic disorders and jaundice and relieving pain associated with rheumatism, arthritis, muscular pain and gout. It also helps for arteriosclerosis, palpitations, poor circulation and varicose veins.
The diuretic properties of rosemary oil are useful with reducing water retention during menstruation, and also with obesity and cellulite.
On the respiratory system, it is effective for asthma, bronchitis, catarrh, sinus and whooping cough. Because of its astringent action, it is also effective for countering sagging skin. Its stimulating action benefits scalp disorders and encourages hair growth.
Macerated chamomile flowers in sunflower oil
This Macerated oil is made with Calming and soothing Chamomile leaves in Sunflower oil which is used in skin care because it contains Oleic acids, high amounts of Vitamins A, D, and E, a good amount of of lecithin and unsaturated fatty acids which are all nourishing for the skin. This combination makes the Macerated oil a good skin moisturising oil especially for those who with dry skin and those with sensitive skin prone to inflammation.
Macerated calendula in sunflower oil
Calendula macerated oil is made by infusing marigold flowers into sunflower oil, it is gentle and soothing for the skin. Promotes healing and nourishes skin. Wounds, cuts, rashes and dry damaged skin. Soothing and healing for sunburn, bites and grazes. Organic Marigold (Calendula officinalis) flowers macerated in Organic Sunflower Oil.
Sun-dried Red Clay
Red Clay is an oily, mildly absorbent clay, and is used for sensitive or couperosed skin. Red Clay has a high iron oxide content which enhances the skin’s appearance and condition particularly helpful for broken capillaries, bags under the eyes and sensitive skin types.
Organic Turmeric
Turmeric powder is one of the classic Indian spices. It has a rich yellow colour with a nice subtle flavour. Turmeric has has anti-inflammatory properties that has great health benefits for people with arthritus. We recommend that you use the organic ground turmeric powder or the fresh root.
Organic Lemon Essential Oil
Lemon oil can be very beneficial to the circulatory system and aids with blood flow, reducing blood pressure and helping with nosebleeds. It can help bring down fever, helps relieve throat infections, bronchitis, asthma and flu.
It boosts the immune system and cleanses the body, improves the functions of the digestive system, and it is helpful with constipation, dyspepsia and cellulite.

Organic & cold-pressed red palm oil
This oil has been used for centuries as a culinary, medicinal, and cosmetic favorite. It is considered the "best" among indigenous cultures, used for special meals and guests. It has not been refined in any way and as a result contains all of its important phyto-nutrients. Red Palm Oil is a rich source of Vitamin A in the form of Cartenoids. It is also a wonderful natural source of Vitamin E containing the full spectrum tocopherols and tocotrienols. Our oil is not hydrogenated and contains no cholesterol.
Organic & cold-pressed sunflower oil
sunflower is one of the favorite of softening emollients. It is rich in vitamins A, D, and especially in vitamin E and essential fatty acids. Sunflower oil has a light texture and is easily absorbed by skin, making it excellent for use in lotions, creams,
massage oils, and other topical applications. Being high in linoleic fatty acid it can make a gentle skin softening soap, and also comes in a "
high oleic" formula that gives the oil an extended shelf life for cosmetic applications, such as usage in our 'Rose Geranium Soap'.
