With the Shikakai hair wash you do not need to use it with a shampoo or a conditioner. You simply need to make enough paste to cover all of your hair, add the paste to wet hair and although it is quite difficult because it is not a liquid, spread the mixture over the scalp and then massage it gradually through all the hair, then rinse off.
